Sir,

With due veneration, I beg to submit the following for your kind and favourable consideration.

That I am a student of class IX. I had been suffering from fever for four days from 4^th February to 7^th February 2003 . The doctor had advised me to remain in bed till recovery from the said illness. I could not attend  my classes during the said period.

You are requested to consider my submission sympathetically to regularize my absence for the period from 4^th February to 7^th February as sick leave. I shall ever remain grateful for this act of kindness.
