With due veneration, we the students of class – IX  beg to submit the following for your kind and favourable consideration.

That quite a large number of students of our class are planning to go on a picnic to Moenjodaro on next Friday. We have always been longing to see this historical place. We have read a lot about this city in books only. We are studying about the old civilization in our text book. This visit will be very useful for us from educational point of view, and we do not want to lose this opportunity.

You are requested to consider our submission sympathetically allowing our class to go on this educational excursion.   We shall ever remain grateful for this act of kindness.
